Kalleske Wines

Kalleske Wines

Our first stop is Kalleske Wines near the small town of Greenock on the edge of the Barossa Valley. Kalleske is housed in what used to be the town’s general store, which has been transformed into a unique and intimate cellar door.

As a family owned and operated winery, Kalleske Wines pride themselves on producing minimalistic styled wines using biodynamic grapes. Known for producing wonderful handcrafted and organic wines, the friendly and knowledgeable staff at the cellar door will provide you with the ultimate wine tasting experience.

Before leaving be sure to try their Plenarius, Golden Orange in colour with toffee hues – the only winery in the Barossa Valley producing this uniquely styled wine.

Historic Tanunda

Stroll through this quaint town of local shops and European heritage

Tanunda is the focal point of the Barossa Valley, with its strong German and religious heritage. Showcasing distinctive church spiers, cafés and restaurants there is plenty to experience in and around the town.

Enjoy a coffee, browse through a gift store and take home a memento, or simply take in the relaxed country atmosphere as you explore the town of Tanunda.

After lunch we will make our way to the quaint, family-owned Kies Family Wines, a renovated cottage that became a renowned cellar door in the 90’s. Experience the range of award winning wines, which include light, fruity whites, full bodied reds and a selection of fortified wines.

Jacobs Creek Wines

Our last stop, the world renowned Jacob’s Creek is a delightful way to finish the day, offering the chance to indulge in splendid red and white wines in a rustic, relaxing environment.

Wind down the day on Jacobs Creek’s lush green lawn, and enjoy the breathtaking views that overlook the vineyards and the Barossa Valley’s hills. Reflect on your Barossa Valley experience and the memories made of the day that has been.
